Hot basalt stones

In the Et Suseia massage we incorporate hot basalt stones as a complementary, deeply therapeutic tool. These stones, formed by the energy of volcanic fire, have a natural capacity to retain and transmit heat slowly and constantly.

When applied to the body, at the right temperature and in specific areas, they help to deeply relax the muscles, improve circulation, relieve contractures and promote a general state of calm and receptivity. The heat penetrates gently, dissolving tensions and complementing the massage.

The stones integrate harmoniously with our hands, alternating direct contact and synchronised movements.
Their presence is felt as a warm whisper that accompanies and supports.
Especially in states of fatigue, stiffness or muscular overload, the stones become a bridge between the earth and the body, providing rootedness, rest and lasting relief.

Et Suseia Massage

60 min massage (incl. volcanic stones) or 90 min massage (incl. volcanic stones + craniofacial massage)

Designed for the pilgrim on the Camino de Santiago

The Et Suseia massage is born from our hands and from our listening, from the experience shared between us, accompanying with care and presence hundreds of pilgrims who pass through our centre, right at the foot of the Camino, in Sarria.

Over time we have gained extensive experience, massaging the bodies of the walkers: their accumulated tensions, the deep fatigue, the weight on the feet and legs, the contractures that show up in the back, the neck, the joint discomfort, the tendinitis that whispers with each step. Each ailment speaks to us, and we respond with an attentive and restorative touch.

Each session is unique, a pause in the journey where the body finds relief and the soul, rest. We adapt to what the pilgrim needs, with respect, knowledge and sensitivity, combining depth, precision and warmth.

Et Suseia is a massage that accompanies. That understands the effort. That honours walking.
It is a way of caring for the walker, where he needs it most.

We abandon perfection to find excellence.

Massage for Two

60 min Massage or 90 min Massage

Sharing rest, living care

At Et Suseia we also offer the possibility of receiving our massage as a couple, or two people at the same time, in the same room. Each person is attended by one of us – Sonia or David – and treated in a personalised way, according to their physical needs and general state at that moment.

Receiving a massage together with another person is a special experience. It can be experienced as a shared gift, a common pause, a moment of care that strengthens the bond. It is not an identical massage for both, but a simultaneous experience, where everyone is accompanied in a unique and conscious way.

The benefits of the Et Suseia massage are multiplied when they are shared: the body relaxes, tension is released, and the soul finds a space to rest… in company. It is a moment of connection, presence and well-being together.

Ideal for couples, friends or travelling companions who wish to take care of each other and enjoy a moment of harmony, the massage for two is an invitation to stop together, to dwell in the here and now in calm and attentiveness.

Lomilomi Massage

60 min Massage

A healing art born from the heart of Hawai’i

Lomilomi massage is not just a bodywork technique: it is an ancient form of healing that stems from the ancient wisdom of the Hawaiian people. At its core, lomilomi means ‘to knead’, but it is also associated with the image of a wave that envelops, cleanses and transforms. And that is how it is experienced: as a profound journey inward, where body, mind and spirit harmonise in one breath.

Traditionally, lomilomi was offered by kahunas (healers) as part of rituals of purification, transition or reconciliation. It was a sacred act, imbued with prayer (pule), clear intention and spiritual connection. In each movement lives the memory of the ocean, the rhythm of nature, respect for the ancestors and trust in the power of aloha – the love that sustains life.

At Et Suseia, we practice lomilomi from a place of deep respect and surrender. We have been trained and initiated in this art, not only by learning its enveloping, rhythmic and fluid movements, but also by embodying the inner attitude that makes it truly transformative: total presence, silent listening, prayerful touch.

A lomilomi session is like a ceremony. The body lies on the couch, but something else is surrendered: memories, tensions, old patterns. The therapist’s hands and forearms flow like warm waves, creating a safe space where everything can be released. Sometimes you cry, sometimes you smile from within. It always becomes different.

Lomilomi does not seek to ‘fix’ anything, but to remind the body of its natural harmony. From that deep memory, healing springs forth.

In each session, we honour the tradition we have received, bringing it into the present with authenticity and gratitude. Because healing, for us, is not intervention. It is accompanying. It is to love from silence.

Chiromassage

60 min Massage

An ancient and scientific technique for healing

Chiromassage is much more than a simple manual massage: it is a deeply integrative technique that connects the therapist with the patient’s body through the conscious manipulation of muscles, tendons and tissues. This healing art, although rooted in ancient massage traditions, was systematised and perfected in modern times by Dr. José Ferrándiz, who promoted its development from a scientific and therapeutic approach.

Dr. Ferrándiz, a doctor by profession, dedicated his life to studying the body’s responses to manual stimuli, managing to merge knowledge of anatomy, physiology and massage techniques. His research contributed to giving a scientific basis to what was previously considered a more intuitive art, transforming chiromassage into a recognised discipline in the field of health and wellbeing.

Chiromassage in its purest form is not just a superficial relief, but a technique that works at a deep level, helping to release accumulated tension, improve circulation, relieve muscle aches and reduce stress. It is a therapy that, just as water flows through the therapist’s hands, seeks to restore the body’s natural balance, recognising each area of tension and transforming it with a precise and appropriate touch.

At Et Suseia, we use chiromassage as one of the key tools in our practice, complementing it with other therapies and techniques to offer a complete healing experience. Dr. Ferrándiz’s influence is still alive in our methodology, as his vision of integrating science with the art of touch allows us not only to soothe the body, but also to accompany it in its process of transformation and wellbeing.

Each chiromassage session we offer is designed to free the body from the physical and emotional burdens that affect it.

Through a personalized and conscious massage, we seek to bring the body back to its natural balance, restoring harmony both physically and emotionally.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

60 min Massage

The stillness that listens and sustains

Biodynamic craniosacral therapy is a subtle and profound form of therapeutic accompaniment, based on the body’s innate capacity for self-regulation and healing. Through a very gentle contact, the therapist enters into relationship with the natural rhythms of the organism, especially with the so-called life impulse, a primary respiratory movement that flows in the tissues, in the fluids and in the energetic field of the person.

This approach stems from the osteopathic work of Dr. William Sutherland, and has been developed with contemporary contributions such as those of Franklyn Sills, James Jealous and others. In Sonia’s training, guided by Javier de Maria, the emphasis is on deep listening, the neutral presence of the therapist and trust in the inherent wisdom of the body.

It is not a matter of intervening or correcting, but of offering a safe and receptive space where the system can express what it needs to integrate, release or reorganize. The therapist becomes a silent witness, attuned to the slow and broad movements of health that emerge from deep within.

The session usually brings the body and nervous system to a very beneficial state of calm and regulation, favoring physical, emotional and energetic healing processes. Many people experience a sense of reunion with their inner axis, a deep rest, or a clarity that goes beyond words.

At Et Suseia, biodynamic craniosacral therapy is an invitation to stop, to be heard at all levels of being, and to allow the essential to express itself, gently, from the center.

Foot Reflexology

40 min Massage

The body map on the feet

Foot reflexology is an ancient therapy that finds its roots in ancient cultures such as Egyptian, Chinese and Indian. Engravings found in Egyptian tombs already show practices similar to this technique, which is based on the idea that all the organs, glands and systems of the human body are reflected in the feet. In the West, it was developed and systematized in the 20th century by therapists such as William Fitzgerald and Eunice Ingham, who established the modern reflexology maps.

At Et Suseia, we apply foot reflexology with a sensitive, therapeutic and personalized approach. Through gentle and precise pressure on specific points of the foot, we stimulate the reflex zones of the body in order to promote its balance and natural functioning.

The benefits of this technique are broad and deep:

Each session is an invitation to let go, to trust, to allow the body to receive what it needs to restore its own internal order. Many people are surprised to discover how much the whole body can relax and balance itself through foot care.

Stillness Therapy

40 min Massage

The art of not doing. Therapy from stillness and deep listening.

There is a way of touching that does not seek to change anything. A form of presence that does not direct, does not impose, does not correct… but is simply there. Accompanying, as silence accompanies music. That is the essence of Stillness therapy.

This approach stems from the more subtle evolution of osteopathy, especially its biodynamic branch, developed from the vision of Dr. Andrew Taylor Still and William Sutherland. However, it has been through contemporary masters such as Mike Boxhall and Kirill Yurievich that this listening has reached a truly contemplative and transformative depth.

Stillness, as we have experienced and embodied it in our journey, especially in the experiential training with Kirill Yurievich, is not a technique in the conventional sense. It is rather a way of being: a conscious, sensitive presence that surrenders to the mystery of the body and being. It is allowing something greater to express itself without intervention. The therapist does not do… but is completely there.
In a Stillness session, the body is listened to without judgment. No outcome is sought. Relief is not pursued, nor is structure manipulated. A safe space of deep welcome is offered, where the nervous system can drop down, release defense patterns and let the inner wisdom emerge. Sometimes this manifests as an abysmal rest; at other times, as emotions welling up, pulses being released, memories dissolving.

At our center, Et Suseia, Stillness is not an isolated technique: it is an attitude that permeates everything we do. It is present in every lomilomi massage, in every reflexology touch, in every craniosacral listening. It is the silent background that sustains the encounter. Because we believe there is no greater gift than to offer real presence, without expectation, without haste, without the need to change anything.

Et Suseia means “And it follows”, like the Way. And this is how we also understand it: sometimes the path stops on the outside, to continue on the inside. And it is from that fertile pause, from that inhabited silence, that something profoundly alive begins to move.
